Insolvency Trainer (Non-Advice)
Location: Cheadle (Office-Based)
Salary: Starting from £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Requirement: Essential industry experience in Insolvency / Debt Advisory
About Us
We are a leading, fast-growing insolvency practice dedicated to delivering exceptional financial solutions and debt advice. As we continue to scale, we are looking to appoint a dedicated Insolvency Trainer to lead and develop our training function from our Cheadle office.
This is a key appointment designed to maintain high quality standards, process compliance, and exceptional service across our entire operations.
The Role
As our Insolvency Trainer, you will lead the delivery of process and soft-skills training across all core business areas (initially excluding our specialized Advice department, though this may evolve to include Advice depending on the successful candidate's experience).
Working closely with department heads, you will be the key link ensuring our onshore teams and offshore operations are fully aligned. A significant portion of this role involves supporting and coaching new starters as they transition into the business, alongside collaborating closely with quality assurance (QA) teams and trainers in our offshore centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & New Starters: Lead the design and delivery of structured onboarding programmes to get new starters up to speed quickly on core insolvency processes and systems.
- Process & Soft Skills Training: Deliver targeted training sessions focusing on complex system processes, compliance, and essential soft skills (such as empathy, active listening, and effective customer interaction).
- Offshore Liaison & Collaboration: Partner with QA teams and trainers in our offshore centres to ensure training consistency, share best practices, and close any skill gaps.
- Stakeholder Management: Work collaboratively with department heads to identify training needs, address performance gaps, and implement effective learning solutions.
- Documentation & Resources: Create, update, and maintain comprehensive internal training guides, manuals, and process maps.
Who We Are Looking For
- Insolvency Industry Experience (Essential): A strong, proven background within the insolvency or debt solutions sector is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Coaching & Training Capability: Strong aptitude for training, coaching, and mentoring staff. Formal training experience is highly valued, but a deep understanding of insolvency processes and a natural ability to develop others is key.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory and system processes clearly and concisely.
- Collaborative Approach: Ability to build strong working relationships with department heads, local team members, and offshore partners.
- Location: This is a fully office-based role in Cheadle, requiring your daily presence to support our teams.
