Overview
We are looking for someone to join our small team in a lovely local pub in Hanover. The ideal candidate should be familiar with bar work, have experience opening/closing a pub and have a passion for pubs and bar work.
Though you won't be running a team yourself, we are looking for someone who works well with others and can both work alone and with another person or 2.
The Setting Sun is a lovely local pub with great regulars and can get very busy during events so being able to work in a fast pace environment is essential
Duties
- Prepare and serve drinks
- Friendly and efficient customer service
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Manage stock levels during shifts
- Handle customer complaints or enquiries professionally
- Cash up, clean up and lock up the pub
Skills
- Proven experience within a pub environment.
- Great teamwork
- A good understanding of how pubs work
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Availability to work over weekends and holidays as these will be out busiest times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
