Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized support to children and young people, encouraging their social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities
- Foster a supportive environment by mentoring individuals and promoting positive behavior
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to develop tailored support plans
- Lead educational activities that promote learning, creativity, and confidence
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure each individual’s needs are met effectively
- Maintain accurate records of support sessions and report any concerns or incidents promptly
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people in a supportive or educational setting
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to inspire confidence and independence
- Knowledge of teaching methods suitable for diverse learning needs
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly across various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings
- Relevant qualifications in social care, education, or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to creating a positive impact in the lives of others
