Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our engineering teams in delivering innovative and reliable solutions. Key Responsabilites
- Lead and coordinate multiple engineering projects from concept design through
installation, commissioning, and handover while ensuring delivery on time, within
budget, and according to quality standards
- Coordinate activities between engineering, quality, maintenance, and external
contractors
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations to ensure
successful project delivery
- Ensure engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials
(BOMs) are accurately prepared, reviewed, and controlled
- Oversee equipment specification, installation, commissioning, and validation activities
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and
product quality
- Monitor internal resources and contractor performance, ensuring work is completed
safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and food hygiene
standards
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and performance management for engineering
team members
- Collaborate with quality and production teams to ensure engineering solutions meet
operational and regulatory requirements
- Drive collaboration across departments to minimize production disruption and ensure
smooth project execution
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve technical and
operational issues
- Manage project meetings, track actions, monitor progress, and provide regular status
updates to stakeholders and senior management
Required Experience
- Minimum 5–10 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or
management role
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination experience
- Proven experience preparing and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Experience managing engineering contractors and suppliers
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with engineering documentation and project management software
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing, food processing, dairy, or related industries
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards, sanitary design principles, HACCP, GMP, and food
safety regulations
- Experience with process piping, CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems, and hygienic equipment
design
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is advantageous
- Familiarity with CAD software and engineering design tools
- Experience in process systems involving fluid dynamics

Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
