1:1 Reception Teaching Assistant (TA)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Harrow. The role involves working 1:1 with a child who has ADHD, providing tailored support to enhance their learning and social skills. Applicants should possess a genuine interest in special education, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children or individuals with SEN.
About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Reception-aged child with ADHD. You will work closely with the child, supporting their learning, development, and integration within the classroom. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized support to the child during lessons and play
- Assisting with communication, social, and emotional development
- Supporting the child’s independence and confidence
- Collaborating with teachers and therapists to implement learning plans
- Monitoring progress and adapting support as needed
