Qualified/High Experienced Children's Support Worker – Residential Care
Location: Ninfield, East Sussex
Full Time – 40.5 Hours Per Week
£13.00 per hour | £14.00 per hour (Qualified in Residential Childcare)
Plus Sleep-In Payments (£80 per sleep)

We are currently looking for caring, resilient and motivated Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our dedicated team in our home in Ninfield, supporting children and young people with Autism, learning disabilities and additional complex needs.

What does the role involve?
As a Children’s Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will support children and young people in everyday life while helping them develop independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting young people with routines, activities and personal development
- Helping create a safe, structured and positive home environment
- Building meaningful, trusting relationships with children
- Supporting education, appointments and community activities
- Encouraging communication, emotional regulation and social development
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and professionals to achieve the best outcomes
Shift Patterns
We operate long-day shift patterns to ensure consistency for our young people:
7:00am – 9:00pm or 9:00am – 11:00pm
This is a full-time role based on 40 hours per week.
What are we looking for?
We are keen to hear from people who are compassionate, proactive and genuinely passionate about improving outcomes for children with complex needs.

- Experience working in residential childcare, care settings, SEN support, or with children with additional needs
- A full UK driving licence (essential)

A qualification in Residential Childcare is desirable and rewarded with a higher hourly rate, but we welcome applicants with relevant experience and the right values.
