Howson Care Centre is an 83 bedded Nursing Home, which is divided into 4 units. We provide care to people with mental health needs, learning disability and older adults. We are situated on the main bus route, approximately 6 miles from Gainsborough and 12 miles from Lincoln.
Job Specification:
- Your duties in this role are to support service users in their daily lives including (but not limited to):
- Encouraging service users to have the highest quality of life
- Promoting independence and choice in their life
- Respecting and accepting service users social, emotional, sexual, religious and cultural needs
- Maintaining accurately daily records
- Supporting service users with their physical and emotional well being, assisting them with personal care, such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
The role plays a key part in promoting the service users independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.
The role is working full time, 161 hours every 4 weeks. There may be some flexibility around shifts.
We work on a rolling 2-week rota, ensuring alternate weekends off. The times of the shifts are 7.30am-7.30pm
