Salary: £18.49 – 19.81 per hour (depending on experience)

About Us:
We are looking to appoint a Centre Manager for Haverhill provision. We work with the most incredible group of 16–24 year olds who need a range of support both within centre and out on placements. The Centre Manager for Study Programme Including SEND Delivery is responsible for overseeing the effective operation and management of the study programme, including ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment. This role involves managing staff performance, supporting contract management, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, particularly related to SEND delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Study Programme staff across departments, monitoring performance to ensure alignment with WS Training’s policies, systems, and procedures.
- Lead the team to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment are delivered.
- Participate in interviewing and staff selection in accordance with safer recruitment procedures.
- Implement disciplinary and grievance procedures when necessary.
- Monitor staff absence, including handling paperwork and conducting return-to-work interviews.
- Support staff CPD across departments to enhance professional development.
- Manage the delivery and development of study programme learners and all staff, providing clear direction and information, enabling them to fulfill their role ensuring individual set targets are met.
- Making meaningful contribution to the company Self Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan
- Responsible for regularly reviewing and amending of training material in line with OFSTED and awarding body requirements
- To ensure adherence to Health & Safety (including Safe Learner concept), Code of Conduct policies, Equality and Diversity and that all learners are given fair access to opportunities.
- To actively promote and support an empowered open success culture.
- Assist the Head of Education with contract management to ensure adherence, including maintaining enrolment numbers and achieving or exceeding achievement rates.
- Authorise financial transactions such as invoices, petty cash, and staff mileage in line with budgets.
- Apply for element 3 funding from local authorities to ensure all learners receive appropriate funding.
- Maximise ESFA contract value by onboarding learners to all programmes.
The ideal candidate would require the following qualification/experience -
- Minimum of a Level 3 Management Qualification or equivalent experience
- Minimum of Level 2 functional skills or equivalent in maths and English
