Join our team as a Food and Beverage Assistant at Hogs Inn, The Pinewood in Welshpool, a brand new restaurant opening its doors in September 2026. We are looking for enthusiastic & passionate individuals to help to deliver faultless service at this newly renovated Restaurant.
The Pinewood has undergone extensive refurbishment making it a stand out property in the area and, as such we are looking for exceptional people to be part of something special from the outset. Our aim is simple, to offer both locals and guests from the wider area an outstanding experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using EPOS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, bar & BOH areas
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential as full training can be given
- Familiarity with high end serving techniques and customer service
- Experience with upselling menu items that can contribute to increased sales and guest experience
- Can work well alone or as part of a small team
Pay: £12.80-£16.00 per hour
