About Us
We are establishing a new, state-of-the-art Vehicle Preparation Centre to support one of the North West's largest independent used car retailers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and dedicated Automotive Technicians to join our expanding team. Candidates with Jaguar Land Rover experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
The Role
As an Automotive Technician, you will play a key role in preparing vehicles to the highest retail standards. Your responsibilities will include servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and general mechanical maintenance across a diverse range of vehicle makes and models.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
- Prepare vehicles to retail and showroom-ready standards.
- Complete all work efficiently while maintaining exceptional quality.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and in accordance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Automotive Mechanic.
- Jaguar Land Rover experience (highly desirable).
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification (preferred).
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- An MOT Tester qualification (advantageous but not essential).

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
