The Opportunity
Due to the relocation of an existing member of our team, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our Horizontal Plating Department.
The role will involve working alongside our experienced plating and engineering team, with duties including:
- Preparing rollers and components for nickel and copper plating
- Assisting with the internal cleaning of rollers
- Preparing, handling and positioning components throughout the plating process
- Assisting experienced members of the plating team with day-to-day operations
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following established operating procedures and quality requirements
Previous engineering, manufacturing or technical experience would be an advantage; however, it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Experience in the use of overhead cranes and lifting equipment would also be beneficial.

Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with an understanding of electroplating processes is preferred
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and chemical concentrations.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is beneficial, especially in a production environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
