Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front of House Team Member. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong ability to understand and respond to customer needs. This role includes greeting customers, taking orders, serving ice cream, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately
- Prepare and serve menu items with care and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shop
- Follow opening and closing procedures based on shift requirements
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to enhance service delivery and resolve any issues
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred but not essential (full training provided)
- Knowledge of food safety and allergies is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent spoken English
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Able to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
