The Role:
To manage mid-scale digital transformation projects at business, organisational and system level, managing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to handover to business as usual. The Senior Project Manager will manage a number of projects concurrently, working closely with the Programme Manager and many other stakeholders from the business and IT to produce accurate and achievable delivery plans, facilitating the setup of projects and managing resources, prioritising and overseeing project activities, preparing and tracking project budgets, exercise good judgement and discretion, escalating to stakeholders when required to enable projects to be successfully implemented.
The working pattern for this post offers flexibility and may include hybrid working, late starts/early finishes, and condensed hours. We would also consider reduced hours of up to 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week) for the successful candidate.
Whilst there is a requirement to be in Portsmouth a few days each week, hybrid working is available for this role. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed and agreed upon appointment.
