Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hairdressing and hair extension/ hair loss services to develop their skills in a professional environment. The successful candidate will assist senior stylists, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Previous experience in store management, hairdressing / hair extensions or makeup application is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This paid position is ideal for those eager to grow within the hair industry and expand their expertise. Hairdressing experience is a must , however extension training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Support senior stylists with daily salon operations and client appointments
- Assist with hair cutting, colouring, styling, and finishing techniques under supervision
- Provide excellent customer service by welcoming clients and addressing their needs
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling and client enquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon environment
- Participate in mentoring programmes to develop technical skills and professional growth
- Contribute to store management tasks as required, including stock organisation and product display
Qualifications
- Passion for the hair industry with a keen interest in hairdressing and related services
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Customer service experience is highly desirable
- Basic understanding of store management principles is a plus
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions diligently
- Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple client appointments efficiently
- Willingness to learn new techniques and expand skill set through training opportunities

Pay: £24,420.00-£47,970.30 per year
