The Role
Lead cross-team marketing projects and strengthen the governance, onboarding and performance of TfW's marketing supplier ecosystem and improving consistency, efficiency and delivery quality across the function.
Role responsibilities
- Lead project delivery of cross-functional marketing projects by building structured project plans, setting clear milestones and managing workstreams through regular progress reviews and project management disciplines; ensuring marketing activity is delivered on time, on brief and to the standard TfW's brand and public profile demands.
- Establish and manage governance frameworks, KPI reporting and regular performance reviews for external agency partners, using structured scorecards and evidence-based reporting processes to provide the accountability and oversight that protects delivery quality and informs strategic decisions about TfW's agency relationships.
- Own the end-to-end onboarding of new suppliers to TfW's marketing framework, setting out expectations around ways of working, brand standards and contractual requirements through structured inductions and documented processes; ensuring every agency partner is positioned to deliver effectively from day one.
- Drive integrated, co-creative working across TfW's agency ecosystem through facilitated workshops, shared planning sessions and co-ordinated briefing and review processes; maximising the collective capability of the supplier network and reducing duplication, misalignment and inefficiency across campaigns and workstreams.
- Monitor supplier performance against agreed KPIs and delivery standards, identifying risks, issues and underperformance early through structured review cycles and progress tracking; enabling timely intervention that protects the quality and consistency of TfW's marketing output.
- Optimise use of TfW's Marketing Services Framework by ensuring the right suppliers are selected and correctly scoped for each brief, working with internal marketing colleagues and engaging Procurement where required for complex or above-threshold awards; maximising value for money and delivery effectiveness across TfW's agency spend.
- Provide project management expertise and structure across the Marketing function by embedding consistent planning tools, process disciplines and cross-team ways of working; improving visibility, pace and alignment across concurrent marketing workstreams and building stronger overall delivery capability within the team.
- Develop dashboards, performance packs and governance reports to support senior decision-making, using relevant data, project tracking tools and clear presentation standards; giving the Head of Brand Marketing and senior leaders accurate, timely insight to track progress and make informed choices.
- Identify and implement improvements to processes, frameworks and ways of working across marketing and its agency network, drawing on stakeholder feedback, delivery reviews and benchmarking; progressively building a more efficient, effective and joined-up marketing operation over time.
