Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks efficiently and accurately.
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide exceptional service.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as bakery items
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all operations.
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling payments and giving change.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with serving, cleaning, or stock replenishment as needed.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards to ensure safe handling of food and beverages.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings if required.
