Summary
We are seeking a Flexible Vehicle Fitment Technician to support the installation of approved parts, accessories, and equipment onto newly imported vehicles.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with practical mechanical or technical experience who are confident using hand and power tools, following established procedures, and carrying out high-quality fitment work to a consistent standard.
Responsibilities
The role will involve fitting items such as:
- Air conditioning-related components
- PTO / hydraulic lift equipment
- Stereos and audio equipment
- Fuse boxes and associated components
- Other approved vehicle fitments, depending on customer requirements
- You will be expected to follow standard fitment instructions, work safely, complete work to a consistent quality standard, and raise any issues where required.
Skills & Experience Required
- Practical technical or mechanical experience
- Confidence using hand tools and workshop equipment
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow set processes and work instructions
- Reliable and flexible approach to work
- Focus on safety and quality
- Previous vehicle fitment, fast-fit, accessory fitting, mechanical assembly or workshop experience would be beneficial
- Must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes
- No commercial driving licence required
- Full UK driving licence preferred, as vehicle movement may take place on site only
- No public road driving required
- Technical experience required
- Ability to work within a workshop / vehicle compound environment
Full fitment training will be provided, so commercial vehicle technician experience is not essential.

Working arrangement
This position is offered on a flexible contract basis, with shifts available between 06:00 and 16:30.
Weekly hours will vary depending on operational requirements, although successful candidates can typically expect to work around 40 to 45 hours per week.
The flexible nature of the contract means that shifts are offered and accepted based on business needs and individual availability.
While flexibility is important, this opportunity is best suited to candidates seeking regular, ongoing work with consistent higher-volume hours, rather than occasional or ad hoc shifts.
