We are currently seeking to recruit an Employment Advisor to join our Work and Learn team to motivate candidates who require different strategies to help them into a job with support and empathy.
Duties will include:
- Supporting referrals from the Job Centre in Kendal, through the Restart programme to progress the candidates employability skills and look at securing paid outcomes.
- Working with Job Centre Plus to identify adults with barriers to work and support individuals in securing suitable work placements or the next steps in their employment journey.
- Update, monitor and maintain accurate learner records/ support notes.
- Creating and leading learner reviews, complete progression reports and assessments.
- Liaising with additional support networks such as, careers advisors, adult social workers, parents/guardians and families where appropriate.
- We are seeking a motivate Employment advisor who can provide both support and empathy for people who require different strategies to help them into a job.
- Managing a small team
- Car driver/owner (preferred).
- Knowledge of Supported Employment Programmes (preferred)
- Advice and Guidance L3 or willing to work towards this qualification (or relevant experience)
- An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for the successful candidate. This will be funded by Right2Work, subject to terms and conditions.
