We are seeking a skilled and passionate Indian Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes with attention to flavour, presentation, and quality standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient food production
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of service
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service and serving experiences
- Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes to enhance the culinary offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimise waste
Requirements
- Proven experience in Indian cuisine with a strong culinary background in hospitality or restaurant environments
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead a team effectively
- Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong leadership qualities coupled with good communication skills
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality settings is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- A passion for Indian cuisine and a commitment to delivering authentic culinary experiences
Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
