Trust-Care is seeking caring, committed, and enthusiastic Project Workers to support vulnerable adults throughout Renfrewshire. As a Project Worker, you will deliver person-centred support across supported accommodation and community-based services, enabling individuals to develop essential life skills and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals residing in temporary accommodation to develop the skills and confidence required to successfully manage and maintain their own tenancy.
- Assist service users to arrange, attend, and actively engage with appointments involving healthcare professionals, support organisations, and external agencies.
- Encourage participation in community activities, social opportunities, education, training programmes, and other positive lifestyle initiatives.
- Develop and maintain professional, supportive relationships while acting as a positive role model.
- Promote independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion through individualised support plans.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the delivery of a safe, supportive, and high-quality service.
Shift Patterns
- Flexible day shifts available.
- Backshifts available.
- Sleepover night shifts available, providing overnight support and assistance when required.
- Full-time and part-time positions available.
Requirements
- Minimum of six months' experience within Health & Social Care or a similar support-based role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage effectively and build positive relationships with vulnerable adults.
- Excellent listening skills, empathy, and a person-centred approach.
- A genuine commitment to supporting individuals to achieve their goals and improve their overall quality of life.
