Responsibilities
- Supervise daily food production activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and serving personnel
- Oversee food preparation processes, from ingredient handling to cooking techniques, maintaining efficiency and consistency
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation procedures across all kitchen areas
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service and exceptional guest experiences
- Train team members on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and customer service standards
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through effective stock management
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced food production or restaurant environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations with hands-on culinary experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices applicable to hospitality settings
- Experience in restaurant service or hospitality industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth operations
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
