We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drainage Pump Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of drainage and sewage pumping systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
This role requires a practical, hands-on individual with strong fault-finding skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, and repair drainage and sewage pumping systems.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance visits.
- Respond to emergency breakdown callouts when required.
- Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise professionally with customers, contractors, and site managers.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in good condition.
RequirementsEssential
- Previous experience working with drainage pumps, sewage pumps, or wastewater systems.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Desirable
- City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent engineering qualification.
- Experience with control panels and pump station systems.
- Confined Space certification.
- CSCS card.
- 18th Edition electrical qualification.

Pay: £39,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
