THE POSITION
1 Control Systems are an established Trend/Tridium authorised BEMS partner that have exciting plans for continuous growth with the objective to be at the forefront of the BEMS industry in providing complete in-house project, service and smart building solutions for our client base. To enable us to achieve this aim in being able to provide complete rounded solutions we are seeking to hire a full-time, experienced and “open-minded” employee in the ongoing delivery of specialist support services.
Our proactive approach in the support of BEMS systems, whilst maintaining system availability and environmental conditions will provide our customers with ways in which we continually increase BEMS system performance whilst reducing ongoing energy costs.
Based from home, the primary role of Junior Technical Maintenance Engineer will be required to cover London, home counties and along with this will be willing/flexible with working away if required.
Preferably living within 40 miles of Central London the Junior Technical Maintenance Engineer duties will predominantly be to learn and train through various channels to be able to conduct thorough servicing of predominately Trend or Tridium BEMS systems which will include small projects work (upgrades, retrofits, small installations etc.) where required. This will offer the successful applicant variety in the role as well as exposure to expanding their knowledge in the overall BEMS system deployment gaining valuable experience whilst offering a sound platform to develop their skillset.

Due to the nature of the business an element of out of hours may be required.
EXPERIENCE
· Strong desire to learn all about BMS systems is essential
· Knowledge of using BMS systems would be advantageous, but not essential as both in-house and OEM training will be provided
· An basic understanding of HVAC applications
· Demonstrate electrical skills/competence
· Demonstrate working with initiative
· Strong report writing skills
· Ensure customer satisfaction is maintained
· Flexibility
· A proactive attitude with pride displayed in your work
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with PC’s
THE PACKAGE
Contract: Permanent/Full Time
Expected Salary Band : £25-35K ; Negotiable depending on experience
Location: London & South East
Travel : All expenses will be covered i.e. Mileage/Train/Parking etc.
Bonus : It will be part of the job-role to self-generate quotations in meeting our client requirements which will assist in the growth strategy. This will be rewarded in the shape of a quarterly paid performance bonus
Private Healthcare : Individual cover. Option to extend to partner and immediate family
Training: A variety of on site training, in house training, manufacturers training opportunities are available for this role.
