Hours Per Week: 37.5- ideally 2 x10 hour shifts, 2 x half shifts to support team and 1 admin shift.
Shifts: 8am - 6pm (half shifts - 8am-2pm or 2pm-8am)

Our stunning, purpose-built 53-bed care home boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a coffee shop/bistro, a hair and nail salon, separate dining and lounge areas, and beautifully landscaped gardens. We specialize in providing high-quality specialist/complex nursing care and residential dementia care on dedicated floors, with a steadfast focus on person-centred care tailored to the unique needs and wishes of each resident.
Your Role as Head Housekeeper
As the Head Housekeeper at Ribble Court, you will lead by example in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across our home. Your role is essential in creating a safe, welcoming, and dignified environment for all residents and staff. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading a High-Performing Team: Supervising and motivating the housekeeping and laundry teams to deliver outstanding service, maintaining cleanliness and comfort in all areas of the home.
Ensuring a Welcoming Environment: Overseeing the cleanliness and presentation of communal areas, residents' rooms, and facilities to create a homely, pleasant atmosphere.
Upholding Hygiene and Compliance Standards: Implementing and monitoring cleaning schedules and infection control procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Managing Laundry Services: Coordinating efficient laundry operations, ensuring residents' clothing and linens are cleaned, handled, and returned with care, respecting their preferences and dignity.
Collaborating Across Departments: Working closely with care and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and a consistent, high-quality experience for residents.
Training and Development: Supporting the onboarding and ongoing training of domestic staff, ensuring all team members understand and meet required standards.

An Excellent Communicator: Confident in communicating clearly with staff, residents, and families, ensuring a warm and professional approach at all times.
Experienced in Housekeeping Operations: Proven experience in cleaning and laundry services, ideally within a care home, hospitality, or similar setting.
Organised and Detail-Oriented: Able to manage rotas, schedules, and standards with precision, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
Adaptable and Solution-Focused: Ready to respond to the changing needs of the home, with a flexible and proactive mindset.
