Occupational Therapist
Buxlow School
Website: https://www.buxlowschool.org.uk/
Commitment: Approximately 6 hours per week (flexibility on days and times)
Buxlow School is seeking to engage an experienced Occupational Therapist under a Service Agreement to provide specialist and targeted support to pupils as required.
At Buxlow School, we believe that every child deserves a learning environment where they are understood, respected and celebrated. Our independent school specialises in supporting children aged 5-11 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional needs. With a personalised curriculum, highly trained staff and a warm, inclusive atmosphere, we help each child unlock their unique potential.
We would like to hear from Occupational Therapists interested in working in partnership with our school. Previous experience within an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
The successful therapist will provide specialist occupational therapy support and recommendations to meet the needs of our pupils. They will be expected to hold relevant professional qualifications, maintain HCPC registration and have appropriate professional indemnity insurance in place.
This opportunity is offered on a Service Agreement basis, with a commitment of approximately 6 hours per week. There is flexibility around the days and times worked, to be agreed with the school.
For further details or to have an informal discussion about our requirements, please do not hesitate to contact [email protected].
Safeguarding
Buxlow School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all individuals working within the school to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undergo appropriate safeguarding checks, including an Enhanced DBS check, identity verification, qualification checks, satisfactory references and any other checks required to work within a school environment.
