Duties
- Prepare and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and served fresh and appealing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist in plating and garnishing dishes to enhance visual appeal
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, ensuring smooth operations
- Follow proper storage procedures for ingredients and leftovers to prevent waste
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to improve menu offerings and service quality
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards serving guests
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for motivated learners
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
