Job Specification: Delivery Driver/Site Assistant

Shift pattern:
- Mon- Fri 06:00AM start (45 hour contract)
- No Weekends
- No Bank Holidays
- 25 Days Holiday
- Christmas Closure
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily vehicle checks before leaving site
- Use Electronic Proof of Delivery (EPOD) systems
- Complete multi-drop deliveries of a variety Plumbing and Heating goods
- Customer Service Skills
- Assist with loading/unloading vehicles and help with other warehouse duties where needed
- Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy
- Work productively and efficiently to adhere to agreed delivery times
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards
- Take care of both vehicle and goods in your responsibility
- This role will include Forklift & Site Assisting duties to cover annual leave for which full training will be provided
Requirements
- A full, valid UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
- Good Communication Skills
- Manual Handling Capabilities
- Able to provide references on request
- Positive & efficient attitude towards work and willingness to work as part of a team
- The ability to assist the Transport Supervisor and provide cover in there absence
