Job Summary:
Nittokk Engineering UK Ltd. is seeking a Senior Engineering Operations Manager to lead engineering operations, optimize project execution, and oversee the delivery of high-quality engineering services. The role is responsible for managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, improving operational efficiency, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the company's long-term growth through technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day engineering operations across multiple projects and business functions
- Develop and implement engineering operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency
- Manage engineering resources, project scheduling, budgeting, and workforce planning to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with project managers, design engineers, procurement, quality assurance, and senior leadership to achieve business objectives
- Ensure compliance with UK engineering regulations, health and safety legislation, quality standards, and company policies
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs, project metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage vendor relationships, subcontractors, equipment procurement, and engineering service contracts
- Recruit, mentor, and develop engineering managers, supervisors, and technical professionals while promoting innovation and operational excellence
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related discipline) (Master's degree preferred)
- Extensive experience in engineering operations, engineering management, manufacturing operations, or industrial project leadership
- Strong knowledge of engineering project management, operational planning, quality management systems, Lean methodologies, and continuous improvement practices
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams, large-scale engineering projects, and operational budgets
- Familiarity with ERP systems, engineering software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional registration such as Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Engineering Council UK or membership with a recognized engineering institution is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills

Pay: £75,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
