Job Introduction
As a Kitchen Assistant at Broomfield Village Care Home, you’ll be an integral part of our hospitality team, working alongside our chefs to help create fantastic food and memorable dining experiences for our residents.
This is much more than a traditional Kitchen Assistant role. You’ll support our chefs with food preparation, plating and service, help keep our busy kitchen organised and running smoothly, and play your part in delivering the high standards of hospitality we want our residents to enjoy every day.
Previous cooking or food preparation experience would be desirable, but it isn’t essential. What matters most is a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, great teamwork and a genuine desire to make a difference.
At Broomfield Village Care Home, our aim is simple: to make people feel special. Whether that’s helping a chef prepare a resident’s favourite meal, supporting the team during a busy service, taking pride in the presentation of our food, or simply helping a colleague when they need it, every member of our kitchen team contributes to that experience.
