As a Chef in The Sail Inn you’ll know all there is to know about working in a fast paced kitchen and have a natural flair for presentation. From preparation to food handling and hygiene, as well as excellent time management skills - your contribution will definitely count. No 2 days in the kitchen will be the same and you’ll be able to develop your skills with a variety of dishes and menus.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience ideally in a call order restaurant setting
- Experience working under pressure and in a high volume kitchen
- Competent understanding of all regulations, food hygiene and company specifications.
- A genuine passion for delivering good quality dishes
- An excellent team player with exceptional communication skills
- Be financially astute with the ability to work within targets
- Demonstrate confidence with a `Can do` attitude
- Have a passion to continually drive sales via customer feedback and introduce new initiatives
This can be a full or part time position working between 15–45 hours a week, running over 3-7 days. Late finishes, split shifts and weekend work will all be required, but in return you will work alongside a professional and friendly team in a great location.
