NWFE Limited are a family run and managed NSI Gold accredited fire and security company based in Crewe, Cheshire, covering the North West. We offer a wide range of fire and security services from, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, intruder alarms, access control and CCTV.
The Role
Due to expansion within the business and our ever-growing customer base, we are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Alarm Engineer to join our team.
The role will consist of the servicing, installation and fault finding on various fire and security systems, across the North West and beyond.
We are looking for somebody that has a great attitude and commitment, has a passion for their work, enjoys getting stuck in to all aspects of their role and who has a keen interest in learning & development.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently to carry out day to day responsibilities, be able to adapt to an interchangeable schedule, and also be able to work well as part of a small team.
Training and support will be given to allow individuals to achieve their personal development goals and increase their value and contribution to the company.
Minimum Candidate Requirements
All applicants will need to meet the minimum requirements detailed below:
- 5 Years relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of various fire and security systems (commissioning experience would be advantageous but not essential)
- Working knowledge of all relevant British & European Standards (PD6662, BS5839, BS5266, BS5306, Etc.)
- Ability to apply fault finding and other skills to a broad range of products
- Full UK Drivers License
- BS7858 Employee Screening will be required
- Must be able to participate in the call-out rota
System Types and Equipment Knowledge
All applicants will need to have previous experience with various fire & security systems; including, Advanced, Kentec, CTEC, Morley, Texecom, Honeywell, Hikvision, .
Additional training will be provided for successful candidates.
