Job Summary
Lockabox is seeking a reliable and friendly Account Manager on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave in our sales department.
This role is suited to someone who is highly organised, confident in communication, and comfortable building relationships with a variety of customers and across a range of platforms.
You will manage our business sales enquiries from end to end, supporting our customers and maintaining our high levels of service. Working closely with all other departments, you will help ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience whilst driving conversions for a growing channel in the business.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound leads from their original enquiry through the pipeline to a sale, and provide after-sale support, ensuring friendly yet efficient communication throughout.
- Maintain strong sales conversion rates across existing channels to achieve revenue targets.
- Follow up with repeat customers regularly to drive new orders and better understand requirements.
- Manage and develop relationships with new and existing B2B customers, and ensure we’re best positioned to serve their needs.
- Report weekly on the B2B pipeline and customer status.
- Feedback to the B2B marketing team to help refine lead generation strategies & collaboration opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous customer service experience essential; sales experience is beneficial.
- Prior CRM experience is valuable but not essential, as long as you’re tech-literate enough to learn
- Confident communicator — phone, email, and face-to-face.
- Consistent and reliable individual who’s comfortable working as part of an established team.
- Fun and friendly approach (able to have a laugh!).
- Must be willing to commute to Kingsbridge, Devon - fully remote is not an option.
Key details:
- Temporary Contract - Maternity Cover up to July 2027. Potential for extension, subject to business needs at the time.
- Pay: £16.07 per hour.
- Part-time (22 hours per week)
- Expected Hours: 0900-1500 Mon-Thurs (30min lunch). Flexibility can be discussed.
- Location: Lockabox HQ, Unit 1 Duke Street Chambers, Bridge Street, Kingsbridge, TQ7 1HX, Devon.
- Start Date: ASAP
