Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time / Part-Time

About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in creating a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive through play. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll support children's learning and wellbeing while helping to create engaging activities that inspire curiosity and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure children are safe, happy and well cared for at all times.
- Support children's learning through play, stories, songs and creative activities.
- Assist with daily routines including meals, toileting, personal care and rest times.
- Set up and tidy away engaging learning activities throughout the day.
- Keep play areas clean, organised and welcoming.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support children's social and emotional development.
- Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Kind, caring and passionate about working with young children.
- Friendly, patient and reliable.
- A positive and enthusiastic team player.
- Available to work part-time or full-time (8:30am–1:30pm, ideally 8:30am–5:30pm).
- Flexible and happy to support across different age groups within the nursery.
- Experienced within a nursery or childcare setting, although this is beneficial rather than essential.
- Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Childcare (desirable but not essential).
