Customer Care Carpenter – New Build Residential Sites (Devon)
Location: Devon (various residential developments across the region)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Care Carpenter to join our growing team, covering new build residential developments throughout Devon.
Working within the Customer Care department, you will be responsible for carrying out remedial and finishing carpentry works in occupied homes, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and delivering excellent customer service at every visit.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out customer care and remedial carpentry works in occupied new build homes.
- Diagnose and rectify defects relating to first and second fix carpentry.
- Adjust and repair doors, windows, skirting, architraves, kitchens, staircases and other joinery items.
- Complete snagging and finishing works as required.
- Liaise professionally with homeowners and site teams.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and to NHBC standards.
- Accurately record completed works and report any outstanding issues.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment within customers’ homes.
Requirements
- Proven carpentry experience within the new build housing sector.
- Strong knowledge of first and second fix carpentry.
- Experience in customer care, aftercare or maintenance works is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Professional and courteous manner when dealing with homeowners.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CSCS card preferred.
