Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in kitchen operations and culinary arts, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals. This role is essential in ensuring that our food preparation and meal presentation meet the highest standards of excellence and safety.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
- Ensure all food preparation is conducted in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary methods, and food safety standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation.
- A passion for cooking .
