We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Barista/ Shop Assistant to join our team at Forage Food Hall.
We are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic individual who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service and has a genuine love for the hospitality industry. As a family-run business, we place a huge emphasis on quality, from the service we provide to the best-quality British produce we use.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be confident working across different areas of our Food Hall and will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our customers.
You will be responsible for working on the coffee station, as well as being confident and willing to support other areas of Forage when required, including the till area and deli counter. Flexibility and a positive, team-focused attitude are essential.
About You
- Previous barista experience is essential, with confidence in preparing and serving a range of quality coffees.
- Previous experience working in a bar, café, restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Confident communicating with customers and colleagues.
- Able to quickly develop a thorough knowledge of our menus, food and drinks offering.
- Comfortable working across different areas of the Food Hall, including the bar, barista station, till and deli counter.
- Able to use your own initiative and remain organised in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.
- A positive, flexible and hands-on approach to teamwork.
- High standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail.
The restaurant is situated just outside Sutton Coldfield. We are not on a public transport route, so being able to drive is an advantage.
