Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into compelling UI/UX designs.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or Zeplin to visualize design concepts clearly.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design improvements and enhance user experience.
- Create responsive web designs that function flawlessly across desktops, tablets, and smartphones using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, SCSS, and other front-end technologies.
- Implement data visualization techniques to present complex information clearly using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Apply interaction design principles to craft intuitive navigation flows and interactive elements that improve engagement.
- Maintain consistency with design patterns and information architecture standards while adhering to brand guidelines and accessibility best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in front-end development with a strong portfolio showcasing web design projects emphasizing UI/UX principles.
- Proficiency in modern front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, Angular, Redux, Bootstrap, and SCSS.
- Familiarity with digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe XD, Figma, Axure, Balsamiq, InVision, Zeplin, and Visio.
- Knowledge of user research methodologies and analysis skills to interpret user feedback effectively.
- Experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), requirements gathering processes, and product development workflows.
- Ability to perform user acceptance testing (UAT), analyze data using SQL or Google Analytics for insights into user behavior.
- Understanding of APIs integration for dynamic content updates and data exchange between systems such as WordPress or Drupal platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or SharePoint for deploying scalable web applications is a plus.
