Level 2/3 Qualified Nursery Assistant
Location: Congleton
Excell Supply is recruiting a caring and enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join a friendly nursery setting in Congleton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years practitioner who is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the day-to-day care and learning of children aged 0–5 years.
- Planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Promoting children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Assisting with personal care, meal times, and daily routines.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (essential).
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework.
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
