Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

The Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Mechanic to join our tight-knit team. You will handle a variety of day-to-day automotive tasks on a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintenance: Carry out routine vehicle servicing and inspections, tyre replacement as required.
- Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
- Repairs: Perform brake replacements, suspensions, cambelts, clutches, and engine repairs.
- MOT Support: Prepare vehicles for MOT testing (an MOT tester license is a bonus but not essential).
- Customer care: Maintain high-quality standards and keep a clean, safe workspace.
- Front of house / reception duties as required using IT systems to book in customers / issue invoices, telephone answering (Training will be given)
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a mechanic or vehicle technician.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent time-served experience).
- Skills: Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently. IT Competent
- License: A valid, full UK driving license is essential.
- Attitude: A team player with a positive attitude who fits into a small family environment.
