Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Teach English language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and observations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to aid their development.
- Create a supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and collaboration.
- Organise extracurricular activities such as book clubs or writing workshops to enhance students' learning experiences.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Stay updated with educational trends and best practices in teaching English.
Requirements
- A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in teaching English at the primary or secondary level is advantageous.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students while maintaining discipline in the classroom.
- Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes is desirable.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
