Job Summary
We are seeking a Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate must be experienced installing solar PV panels to a wide array of roof types. To a high standard , and a quick time scale.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace Solar PV systems roofing systems including slate, Concrete, Rosemary ect.
- Interpret and work from panel designs to ensure accurate installation.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for roofing tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Solar PV roofing is Required.
- Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting regularly throughout the day.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- A valid driver's licence will be required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Customer Satisfaction is paramount.
- You require your own hand tools and small power tools ect to perform your duties.
This is a customer facing role. You'll need to be polite and friendly throughout the installations.
Work already ongoing. An immediate start is available for the right candidates with proven experience in the field who can hit the ground running. You will work with a partner.
You will be required to attend Mansfield NG18 for meet ups, material collections and rubbish drop offs regularly.
The work is in and around the Midlands.
Full time on the books role. All the standard inclusions Vehicles, holidays, fuel card etc. Wage negotiable for experienced and confident installers. You must be confident in solar installation and willing to take the lead and hit the ground running with your team. We unfortunately don't have time for you to learn the trade or train you up at the moment.
