Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for an energetic and detail-oriented Bar Supervisor to lead our bar team. You must have good experience making and designing cocktails, and have previous experience in a busy bar holding high standards.
In this role, you’ll oversee daily bar operations, ensure excellent service, and maintain a lively yet professional environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, has strong leadership skills, and enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure all beverages are prepared according to standards.
- Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels, place orders for supplies, and monitor inventory to minimize waste.
- Support team members with serving drinks, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality, fostering a positive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Proven supervising or team management experience in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and beverage service.
- Previous experience working in hospitality environments such as restaurants, hotels, or bars.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and food production processes.
- Experience with kitchen or culinary operations is a plus, including barista experience or restaurant experience.
- Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities.
- Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a lively atmosphere.
