Responsibilities
- Delivering patient care, including health assessments, wound care and health education
- Administering vaccinations accurately and safely in accordance with established protocols
- Monitoring patient vital signs and recording medical histories accurately
- To participate in taking pathology samples eg. bloods, swabs and urine; liaising with hospitals, labs and other service providers
- To undertake ECG`s
- Supporting patients through health promotion initiatives and chronic disease management programmes
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with data protection regulations
- Ensuring infection control procedures are strictly followed to uphold safety standards
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary team members to provide holistic care
- Managing stock levels of medical supplies and ensuring the cleanliness of clinical areas
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or community setting
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices in nursing
- Cervical cytology experience or the willingness to be trained in this
- Familiarity with clinical documentation systems and healthcare software is desirable
- A willingness to be trained in chronic disease monitoring as the opportunity arises
