Windsor House Hotel is a welcoming and independent hotel located in the heart of Worthing, just moments from the seafront. We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and proactive Night Porter to join our team and help ensure our guests receive excellent service throughout the night.
As the face of the hotel during overnight hours, you will play an important role in maintaining the safety, security, and smooth operation of the property while providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming late-arriving guests and assisting with check-ins
- Providing a friendly and professional service throughout the night
- Carrying out regular security checks of the hotel
- Responding to guest enquiries and requests
- Setting up breakfast areas and preparing the hotel for the morning team
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards in public areas
- Handling basic administrative duties and completing nightly reports
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
What We're Looking For
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A responsible and trustworthy attitude
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
- Good attention to detail
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays when required
- Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or security experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
