Experienced Breakfast Chef – Immediate Start
Squirrels Café, Coventry
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Breakfast Chef to join our growing team with an immediate start available.
This is a hands-on role in a busy café environment, preparing and serving breakfast dishes to a high standard while maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation. Often working alone in the kitchen, so must be able to handle multiple orders at once with no assistance.
Hours
- Wednesday to Sunday
- Approximately 7:30am – 1:00pm
- Additional hours may be available to cover holidays, busy periods and special events
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working as a breakfast chef or similar kitchen role
- Ability to work independently and manage a breakfast service
- Good understanding of food hygiene and food safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and able to work under pressure
- A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a small, friendly team
Duties will include:
- Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to order
- Opening and setting up the kitchen each morning
- Stock rotation and basic food preparation
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards
- Supporting with lunch preparation where required
