About the role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Senior Administrator – Paralegal to provide effective administrative support to our Legal team.
This is a varied role where you will support the smooth running of the legal department by managing documentation, coordinating communications, supporting meetings, assisting with legal correspondence and helping the team deliver a high-quality service to internal and external clients. The role is based in our Leicester office and reports to the Director of Law.
What you’ll be doing
As Senior Administrator – Paralegal, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the Legal team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and organising property law files, both electronically and in paper format, ensuring documents are accurate, well maintained and easy to access.
- Supporting project administration and assisting with the preparation, formatting and organisation of legal documents, correspondence and reports.
- Handling incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, telephone calls and post.
- Acting as a point of contact between the Legal team and internal or external clients, helping to manage enquiries and direct them appropriately.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments for the Law team, as required.
- Carrying out basic legal research, gathering information relevant to cases or legal matters, and summarising findings for the team.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality when handling legal matters and sensitive information.
- Supporting audits, investigations and other legal activities where required.
- Ensuring work is completed in line with legal, regulatory, company policy and health and safety requirements.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is professional, proactive and able to manage a varied workload with accuracy and discretion. You will need to be confident working with documents, communications and deadlines, while maintaining a high standard of confidentiality at all times.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- An understanding of legal terminology and legal processes.
- A strong commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.
- Some relevant experience within a legal practice and/or professional services environment.
Qualifications and development
An appropriate academic background is required, and some experience of legal studies would be helpful. There is no formal requirement to undertake further legal qualifications, but enthusiasm to continue developing legal knowledge would be an advantage.
