We're looking for a very competent, experienced plasterer for approximately two weeks' labour-only work on a four-bedroom Victorian conversion in Battersea, completing specific plastering tasks to a high standard (a labourer will be provided to knock up materials and support you). Start in approximately two weeks, with some flexibility on the date.
For the right person, there may be further work.
The work:
- Skim coating to new plasterboard ceilings and walls throughout the four-bedroom Victorian conversion
- Rendering and skimming to flank walls
- Setting beads (angle and stop beads)
- Bonding (undercoat) plastering
- Staircase soffits, including the curved soffit to a landing, formed in EML and bonding
Requirements:
- Proven plastering experience across skimming, rendering and bonding work
- Confident forming staircase and curved soffits in EML and bonding to a neat finish
- A neat, consistent, quality finish, and pride in the job
- Valid CSCS card
- Quality and safety conscious
- Two references for quality of work
