Due to an expanding team, we have an opportunity to join the transport team of a leading family-owned manufacturer of high quality animal feed delivering to trade and farm customers throughout the South West.

What we are offering:
- Deliveries predominantly to Southwest region
- 45-hour week over 5 days, Monday to Friday
- Regular Overtime expected – especially during busy periods
- Cover for loading lorries when required

Key responsibilities include:
- Operate a curtainsider vehicle to transport and unload palletised or bagged goods, and farm supplies from our store
- Deliver products safely and efficiently to customer sites, ensuring correct placement of loads
- Drive responsibly at all times, complying with road traffic laws and transport regulations
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections and keep the lorry clean and roadworthy
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and deal with customers in a professional manner
- Contribute to smooth operations by working efficiently and reducing damage or product loss
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail with a strong commitment to Health & Safety standards

What we are looking for in our drivers:
- A valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Lorry Mounted Forklift experience preferred but not essential as training provided
- Ability to work safely under pressure and good time management skills
- Compliance for road transport legislation and best practice H&S
- Willing to work additional/flexible hours to support business/team
- Physically fit
