The Role
We are seeking a skilled, clean and tidy Welder/Fabricator to join our busy workshop team. This is a hands-on role focused on producing neat, professional, and durable metalwork.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG and TIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel
- Precision fabrication and assembly of gates, railings, and structural/decorative metalwork
- Accurate measuring, fitting, and occasional on-site installation
- Working from technical drawings and customer specifications
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Quality checking finished products to the highest standard
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication (gates, railings, fencing, or similar preferred)
- Excellent standard of clean and tidy welding – neat beads, minimal spatter, and professional finish
- Strong fabrication and fitting skills with good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and proud of the quality of your work
- Full UK driving licence is advantageous (for site visits)
