Qualified Dental Nurse – Private Specialist Practice Marylebone, Central London
Part-time: Monday, Wednesday & Friday + 1–2 Saturdays per month£18–£19 per hour, depending on experience
Enhanced pay after 5:30pm and at weekends
The Root Canal Specialist is looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join our private specialist practice in Marylebone. We are a specialist referral practice with a strong focus on endodontics and high-quality patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working in a professional and friendly environment and would like to develop their experience within specialist dentistry.
Working Pattern
* Monday, Wednesday & Friday
* 1–2 Saturdays per month
* Start and finish times may vary according to the clinical diary
* Occasional later evenings when required
* Enhanced pay for hours worked after 5:30pm and at weekends
The Role
* Chairside assistance for specialist endodontic and other dental procedures
* Preparing surgeries and maintaining high clinical standards* Supporting and reassuring nervous or anxious patients
* Sterilisation, decontamination and cross-infection control* Helping with CQC requirements, compliance, audits and practice protocols
* Occasional assistance with reception and general practice administration, including welcoming patients, answering calls, bookings and referral enquiries
* Assisting with referral and practice marketing activities when required
* Working closely with our clinical and administrative team
What We’re Looking For
* GDC-registered Dental Nurse
* Friendly, professional and confident with patients
* Reliable, organised and proactive
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* High standards of cross-infection control
* Private practice experience desirable
* Endodontic or specialist experience is an advantage, but not essential
* An interest in CQC compliance and maintaining excellent clinical standards
* Someone happy to be flexible and contribute to the wider running of the practice
Pay£18–£19 per hour, depending on experience, with enhanced pay after 5:30pm and at weekends. We are looking for someone who would like to become a valued, long-term member of our specialist team.
